Bowtech Carbon Knight

Bowtech is having a mid year release on a new bow. The Bowtech Carbon Knight is their first entry into the carbon riser bows. There isn't much for specs yet. Rumors are that it will be 31" axle-to-axle and weight in about 3.2lbs. The speed is estimated to be about 330.

Update 7/10/13:
We have a demo bow in the stop now. The specs are 31" axle-to-axle, 330 fps IBO and 7" brace height. I chronographed this bot at 60# and 29" draw with a 408gr arrow at 290 fps.  This is only about 10 fps slower than my Insanity. So this bow is really fast.

Now, the weight is incredible. Everyone has the same look when they pick it up. There's nothing there. I was concerned it would have a lot of vibration because it was so light, I was wrong. Just a hint of it. Once we installed a stabilizer, it was really smooth shooting and really quiet. It is quieter than the assassin for sure.

Diamond Infinite Edge

For the 2013 season, Diamond released a new youth model bow called the Infinite Edge. This new bow has an incredible range of draw weight and length adjustments. This bow will go down as low as 5 lbs and all the way up to 70 lbs.

You can now buy one bow for your son or daughter and be sure they will not out-grow it. We've also had quite a few adults purchase this bow for target shooting and hunting. This is not a toy, this is just a smaller version of dad's bow.

The bow is available in camo, pink or black ops editions.

2012 Bowtech Insanity CPX

At the 2012 ATA Show, Bowtech has released the Bowtech Insanity. This new bow improves on the Invasion by offering more speed at 355IBO and easier draw cycle. We didn't thing they could improve the speed without making a harsher draw cycle. We were wrong. The new bow is much better. We are bringing one back with us from the show. Stop in to the store and try the new bow out. You can see more info on our website.

Sureloc Icon Target Sight

For 2012, Sureloc has released an updated target sight. They finally took the best parts of the Supreme and made it better.

The new Sureloc Icon offers a new scope mount and they moved the second and third axis back to the bar itself. This removes a lot of the weight from the scope mount. On the supreme after a few years, you would need to get the bushings replaced. The the sight may help with this. The other important feature is the 2nd and 3rd axis are totally micro adjustable. You can actually cant the slider bar far enough that it would look like you're shooting a traditional recurve. The slide bar also has most of the grid completely removed so you can see through the bar. The pointer has also been improved over the old Supreme style.

There is also a new scope coming out but we will have more on that later. Intially, we were told the Icon will only be available in black.

We expect these to be available in early spring of 2012. We have them on our website but they can't be ordered yet. As we get closer to the release date, we will be offering a pre-order on these.  To see the picture, visit the online store for the Sureloc Icon Target Sight
